Discontinuing Products With PlaceMakers and Mico

The process for deleting a product with PlaceMakers/Mico in the NPC is as follows:

  1. Add an end availability date for the product into the NPC, and release the change.  Please ensure this date has been added to the Base Unit in the instances where there is a  Case unit.
  2. Once the item dates have been completed wait for 10-15 minutes, then un-publish the product to PlaceMakers and Mico.

Notes: 

  • This process only applies when a product has become obsolete or you intend to no longer supply the product to PlaceMakers and Mico. Temporary out of stocks do not fall into this scenario.
  • If the product is published to another customer who you will continue to supply the product to please refer to our article which discusses how to set up a value for a specific retailer.
