Dangerous/Hazardous Goods Attributes for NPC Rapid Loader

The following article provides detailed information on how to manage Dangerous/Hazardous Goods Data in Rapid.

The section is found under DECLARATIONS. It should be completed for all goods classified as either Hazardous or if it is considered Dangerous to transport.

Data fields in NPC Rapid Loader for Hazardous Goods:

For the field GHS Hazard Category, if a specific classification is not available in the drop-down menu it can be left out.

For the SDS Issue date, if there is a revision date available, select the revision date.

To complete the data attributes, you will need the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

The link to an example SDS (Safety Data Sheet) is here.

The example SDS covers the following:

  • Location of required data attributes.
  • Which attributes need to be populated.

Highlighted in yellow are the required data attributes in the SDS which you will use when filling out Dangerous/Hazardous goods attribute.

Next to the required data attributes, there is red text specifying which field these data attributes populate.

A section in Example SDS:

In your SDS If there is data in;

  • Section 2 Hazards Identification then your product is classified as a Hazardous good.
  • Section 14 Transport information then your product is classified as a Dangerous good.

If the SDS for your product does not have either of these sections, then you can leave these blank in NPC Rapid Loader.
