Bulk Edit - Next Availability Date for M10

The Bulk Edit function allows you to edit a data field for multiple products at the same time.
In this instance, this feature allows you to update the Next Availability date for multiple products. 

 

To get started you will need to use the Bulk Search function to locate the GTINs you want to update with a new Next Availability date.
You can refer to the Bulk Search Function Guide.


Once you have located the GTINs you want to update.

1. Click Bulk Edit to get started.

Once selected, a pop-up will appear.

On this pop-up you can view your previously completed bulk edit upload.

2. From this page, you will need to select Next Availability date and download the template, which you will update with your new values.

 

Once you have completed and saved the template you can either drag and drop the file into the section below or click to select the file you would like to upload. 

Once the file has been selected, the file name will appear on screen,
Please confirm the correct file has been selected before proceeding with the upload.


3. After clicking the upload button you will be taken to the Bulk Edit Review page,

In this review page you will be able to see if there are any issues with the GTINs you have selected.
Please note: GTINs that are in a Draft, Pending or Failed state will be unable to process through the bulk edit upload.
These GTINs may need to be corrected or updated manually.

If you have uploaded the incorrect dates, You can click the Discard Job button to start again.
Simply clicking back into your Shared Products catalogue will not discard your current job.
The Bulk Edit icon will update if there is a upload in process.


4. After you confirm the data is correct you can submit the job,
You will then see a final confirmation window.

The example below highlights the confirmation window if there is an unsuccessful GTIN. 

 

Once submitted you will be processed through to the Bulk Edit Report page where you can see all the successful and unsuccessful GTINs.

 

You can return to the Bulk Edit Report page through the view report option of the previous bulk edit.

From the report you can go through and do a bulk search of all the GTINs that were unsuccessful by clicking Search Products.
 

Please note: With Bulk Edit you will only be able to edit Next Availability date for Mitre 10
