Download product data for internal record keeping

Purpose:

As part of ‘the migration’ some data will no longer be available. If it is important to you, then download it now to keep for your own records.

This article outlines the steps to take in MyGS1 to download all your product data to keep as an internal record. This is particularly useful if you are being migrated to GS1NZ’s latest MyGS1 system and want to keep record of the following product data:

1. Product dimensions & weights
2. Country of Origin & consumer enquiry details
3. Packaging type
4. Is the product a despatch, orderable or invoiceable unit?

Step 1: Log in to MyGS1

Step 2: Navigate to the product data download page

• Via the left-hand side navigation menu click on MyProducts (Barcodes) followed by any of the ‘View Products’ links displayed in the table. You will be sent to a new page. 

Step 3: Download the product list

• On the new page, select the ‘Download the product list to a spreadsheet’ option followed by the ‘Continue’ button. An excel file will be downloaded to the ‘Downloads’ folder on your computer.
