Mitre 10 has expanded their data requirements to include online marketing information for their website.

When Creating a New Product for Mitre 10 in Shared Products
1. Select Mitre 10 as a Trading Partner.
2. Complete the data entry form as required.
(Refer to MyGS1 Shared Products User guide for guidance on this process)
3. Enter the Product Category code (GPC Code).
After entering the code, a field labelled Mitre 10 Sub-Category/Fineline will appear.
This code is used by Mitre 10 to classify and group products into categories.
(Please Note: Mitre 10 might also refer to this code as the Material Group)
- If you are unsure about the correct Mitre 10 Sub-Category/Fineline code to use, Please contact Mitre 10 for guidance.
4. Enter the Mitre 10 Sub-Category/Fineline Code.
When you click into this field some suggested Mitre 10 Sub-Category/Fineline codes may appear based on the Product Category code (GPC Code)you entered.
You can:
- Select a relevant code from the suggest list, or
- Search for a code by entering the exact Mitre 10 Sub-Category/Fineline code
- Enter keywords to search for the relevant code.
5. Fill in Additional Product Details (If Applicable).
- Depending on the Mitre 10 Sub-Category/Fineline code, a new section titled Additional Product Details may appear at the bottom of the form.
- The fields in this section will change depending on the Mitre 10 Sub-Category/Fineline code that has been entered.
- Complete the fields in this section where relevant.
Additional Marketing Data Requirements
Mitre 10 also requires marketing information to display on their website.
- Trade Item Marketing Message:
- Provide a marketing blurb that describes the product.
- Word limit is 1500 characters.
- Trade Item Features and Benefits:
- List key features and benefits as bullet points.
- After entering each point, Click the [ + ] button to save and add another point.
