Transfer of Membership

If you're selling your company and/or its products you may need to transfer your numbers rather than cancel the membership.

If you doing one of these things:

  • Selling a brand
  • Selling your business assets
  • Trading under a new legal entity
  • Acquiring a brand(s)
  • Acquiring assets of a business 
  • Divest a brand(s)

Then both you and the other party need to arrange to transfer the licence of the barcode numbers (GTINs) and possibly other GS1 New Zealand services to the new legal entity.  Both parties need to complete the transfer form below, and the new owner must be a member of GS1 New Zealand.
